ASTRIVA Personal Protection Systems
ASTRIVA offers modern ballistic protection systems based on composites and ceramics, including K2 and K5A ballistic plates as well as ergonomic tactical vests. These solutions provide effective protection against bullets and fragments while maintaining mobility and user comfort. They are tested in accordance with military and industrial standards and are intended for uniformed services, the security sector, and civilian applications requiring an elevated level of protection.
Advanced Ballistic Protection Technologies
ASTRIVA personal protection systems are based on modern composites and technical ceramics, enabling effective absorption of projectile and fragment energy while reducing the load on the user. These solutions are designed for operational applications where mobility, reliability, and consistent protection performance are of critical importance.
K2 and K5A Ballistic Plates
ASTRIVA offers lightweight, ergonomic K2 and K5A ballistic plates, designed as standalone protection inserts (Stand Alone) and compliant with PN-V-87000:2011. Standard SAPI 10” × 12” plates ensure compatibility with commonly used carrier systems. The plates have undergone full ballistic testing in accordance with PN-V-87000:2011, conducted by the accredited Small Arms and Protective Equipment Testing Laboratory (LBUSO) at the MILITARY TECHNICAL INSTITUTE OF ARMAMENT (WITU). The optimized composite-ceramic construction provides effective protection against ballistic threats, including high-energy ammunition, while maintaining low weight. These solutions have been tested in specialized research centers and meet the protection level requirements for K2 and K5A.
Tactical Vests and Carrier Systems
ASTRIVA offers tactical vests, including plate carriers, designed to work with the provided ballistic inserts. The carrier system designs consider material durability, mechanical resistance, and user ergonomics.The vests are tested according to current military and industrial standards, confirming their suitability for long-term operational use. The fabric used in the vests has been tested according to PN-EN ISO 105-J01:2002 and NO-10-A504:2023, providing a complete report on fabrics intended for uniforms and equipment, including measurements of color coordinates and re-emission coefficients. Testing was performed by the MILITARY INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING TECHNIQUE (WITI) named after Professor Józef.
