MSc Eng. Karina Krawiec
A specialist in biomechanics and biomedical engineering, affiliated with Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Her research focusses on the biomechanics of traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), the analysis of impulsive interactions in the human-protective equipment system, and the propagation of mechanical waves in physical-biological media. I deal with experimental-numerical analyses of dynamic phenomena.
She is the author and co-author of over 25 scientific papers in the fields of biomechanics, materials engineering, and impact analysis, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases. Her work includes research on bone-implant connections, analysis of the properties of materials produced by additive manufacturing methods (SLA), assessment of energy absorption, and the impact and ballistic resistance of composite structures.
At the company, he is responsible for analysing the biomechanical aspects of the impact of ballistic shields and protective systems on the human body, supporting the design of solutions that minimise the effects of injuries. It combines an engineering approach with biomedical knowledge, contributing to the development of modern and safe protective technologies.
