Advanced simulations and numerical modeling

In ASTRIVA, numerical simulations are an integral part of the design and analysis process for ballistic protection. We treat them not as an auxiliary tool, but as a full-fledged stage of engineering research, enabling a deep understanding of the mechanisms occurring during the interaction of ballistic threats with protective materials.

Cost and time optimization thru simulations

Cost reduction and short implementation time

Numerical analyzes allow for the elimination of critical design errors as early as the conceptual stage, which is impossible in the traditional design model. Thanks to precise modeling of the insert structure, we are able to optimally select the number of layers and the type of binder, which significantly reduces the number of costly field tests. This accelerates the certification process and allows the finished product to be brought to market faster. Thanks to advanced computational models, we analyze the behavior of materials and structures under dynamic loads, such as projectile impact, fragmentation processes, or the interaction of a shock wave. Simulations allow for a virtual representation of a wide range of scenarios, providing data that is difficult or impossible to obtain solely thru experimental research, and enabling informed design decisions to be made early in the product development process.

Partnership with science

Advanced research support from Wrocław University of Science and Technology

A key element of this process is close research and development collaboration with Wrocław University of Science and Technology, particularly with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which specializes in hybrid modeling of fast-changing phenomena. Joint research allows us to perform advanced analysis of dynamic phenomena and precise optimization of ballistic protection structures under various loading conditions.

Materials of the future

Innovations in the service of modern protection

This approach enables the development and evaluation of solutions based on future materials, including metal, polymer, and ceramic composites. This allows ASTRIVA to actively participate in setting the direction for the development of modern ballistic protection systems, designed with real threats and future operational requirements in mind.

Choose proven ballistic protection.

Our products are created by specialists with many years of experience in the fields of ballistics, biomechanics, and materials engineering. Every product is tested by independent experts in both laboratory conditions and in a real-world environment before it goes on sale.
